The Men's Banner Project involves asking men to make the promise not to use their hands in violence against women as well as not to ignore or tolerate the violence they witness. The banner is a tool to begin a dialogue, show support, and build a stronger community. This project is my response to the missing and murdered women from the Native American Community in North America #MMIWG.

I felt compelled to do something artistic and interactive. I noticed that women run many actions, organizations, and campaigns for women and needed to involve men in a positive way.

I go to male-dominated spaces such as beer festivals, outdoor music/folk festivals, comic conventions, hydro/engineering firms, popular outdoor markets, famous streets, and university and high school campuses to create men's banners and collect handprints.
